1. The distance between the crankshaft and the camshaft changes, causing the meshing clearance of the timing gear to be too large or too small.

2. The crankshaft and camshaft axis are not parallel, and the gear is worn, which makes the timing gear mesh nonuniform.

3. The gear engagement position is changed after replacing the crankshaft and camshaft bearings.

4. The axial clearance of the camshaft is too large, and the fixed nut of the timing gear is loose, resulting in axial translocation of the gear or damage of gear teeth.
